Bloom Raises $3.6 Million Seed Round Led By SNAK Venture Partners

Bloom raised a $3.6 million oversubscribed seed round to expand its AI-native marketplace for hardware supply chains. SNAK Venture Partners led the round. Other participants included Flyover Capital, Mana Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners, Family VC, Invest Detroit Ventures, the Michigan Outdoor Innovation Fund, TechNexus, and Service Provider Capital.

Detroit-based Bloom helps hardware companies find and engage engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and after-sales service providers.

Customers submit requirements to Bloom, which structures them and matches them with vetted suppliers.

The platform also supports quoting, booking, and payments.

More than 140 hardware companies have used Bloom, generating more than 2,000 successful matches.

Customers include companies operating across drones, robotics, mobility, and other hardware industries.

Bloom plans to use the funding to expand business development, add more brands and service providers to its marketplace, and grow BloomPay.

BloomPay provides embedded payments and financing intended to let buyers pay on terms while helping suppliers receive payment sooner.

The company will also expand agentic booking technology so AI agents can handle more of the intake, matching, quoting, negotiating, and scheduling workflow.

Bloom was founded in 2023 by Justin Kosmides, Chris Nolte, and Hitesh Chudasama and is headquartered at Newlab at Michigan Central in Detroit.
