Blue Point Capital Partners has recapitalized Dumpsters.com, a national provider of managed waste and site services based in Westlake, Ohio. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Dumpsters.com operates an asset-light platform specializing in temporary roll-off dumpsters and related services, including portable toilets, storage containers, and temporary fencing. Its technology connects customers with a nationwide network of hauling and jobsite service providers.
With Blue Point’s backing, Dumpsters.com plans to expand business-to-business sales, grow complementary site services, and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented waste management market.
Founded in 2009, Dumpsters.com said it has sold more than 1 million dumpsters through its platform.
Blue Point sees additional growth opportunities in the more than $100 billion waste management market. The private equity firm manages over $1.8 billion in committed capital and typically invests in companies generating between $30 million and $300 million in revenue.
The transaction also reflects Blue Point’s strategy of serving as an early institutional partner to founder-owned companies and supporting growth through capital, M&A, technology, and operational resources.
