Blue Water Venture Partners, an investment firm led by New York-based investor Joseph Hernandez, said it has entered into a letter of intent to acquire Jacadi Paris, the Paris-founded children’s fashion brand known for heritage styling and French craftsmanship.
The prospective deal would place the brand under Blue Water Venture Partners’ stewardship-oriented approach, which the firm described as focused on acquiring and growing high-quality businesses across consumer brands, luxury, healthcare, and other strategic industries. The parties said they anticipate closing the transaction in the coming weeks.
As outlined in the announcement, Blue Water Venture Partners said it intends to preserve Jacadi Paris’s French identity and maintain the company’s operations and workforce in France. Jacadi Paris, led by CEO Cédric Dardenne, characterized the potential transaction as a path to continued growth, including expansion in North America while sustaining its presence across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Jacadi Paris said it operates 293 points of sale worldwide across stores and websites.
