BlueAlly has acquired GigaNetworks, a Miami-based provider of enterprise IT and network security solutions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The transaction adds GigaNetworks’ security and networking experience to BlueAlly’s national IT services platform.
GigaNetworks helps organizations evaluate, implement and support network security technology. Its offerings include firewalls, proxy appliances, intrusion detection and prevention, endpoint protection, cloud security, wireless infrastructure and system management tools.
Founded in 2008, GigaNetworks also provides strategic planning, technical training, installation and support for complex IT environments.
BlueAlly offers services spanning security, compliance, cloud infrastructure, data centers, application modernization, workforce collaboration, DevOps, automation and networking.
The company supports clients throughout the technology lifecycle, beginning with assessment and strategy and continuing through design, implementation, optimization and ongoing managed services.
BlueAlly said the companies have similar client-focused cultures and a history of working together, which has helped accelerate the integration process.
The acquisition is intended to give GigaNetworks customers access to a broader product and services portfolio, additional technical resources and BlueAlly’s national delivery capabilities.
BlueAlly is backed by Source Capital, a private equity firm focused on mature middle-market companies with more than $2 million in EBITDA.
