Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors announced a significant expansion of its capital markets platform through the acquisition of an FHA/HUD lending platform from MidCap Financial Services, LLC. The move enables Blueprint to integrate FHA/HUD lending and servicing capabilities into its offerings, strengthening its ability to provide long-term financing solutions across the healthcare real estate sector.
The Chicago-based firm said the acquisition will allow it to deliver both acquisition financing for buyers and refinancing solutions for its broader client base. This expansion aligns with Blueprint’s strategy to provide end-to-end capital solutions across the lifecycle of healthcare real estate assets, particularly in seniors housing and skilled nursing.
As part of the expansion, Blueprint is bringing on an experienced team from MidCap, including Brian Therkildsen and Yvonne Redd, giving clients immediate access to established HUD lending expertise. The firm is also appointing Tony Marino as Senior Managing Director to lead the new platform, alongside Chief Underwriter Ramona Mitchell, both of whom bring decades of HUD lending experience.
The acquisition is expected to close around April 1, 2026, subject to customary conditions. With this addition, Blueprint aims to further solidify its position as a comprehensive advisory partner, offering a full continuum of capital markets and financing solutions.
