BNP Group, an air transportation design and engineering firm backed by Godspeed Capital Management, has acquired Airport Gurus, an aviation consultancy specializing in airport information and communication technology consulting and airport business operations planning.
BNP said the deal expands its ability to deliver ICT and operations planning services alongside its existing aviation and transportation consulting work, including airport systems development, digital technology modernization, and transportation security implementation. The company also said the acquisition deepens its global footprint by adding Airport Gurus’ regional expertise and relationships in Europe and South America. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 by Benjamín Moreno Palacios and Jose Francisco Rabazo Fernandez, Airport Gurus focuses on digital transformation of legacy airport systems and the implementation of smart technology. The firm is headquartered in Barcelona with a second location in Madrid, and also maintains additional offices in South America and the United States. BNP said Airport Gurus has worked across a range of airport types and geographies, including projects involving clients in the U.S., Spain, the U.K., France, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Brazil, and Peru, among others.
The transaction is BNP’s third acquisition following its purchases of Establish and STS in 2025. BNP launched as Godspeed’s eighth dedicated platform in fall 2024 and is positioned as one of the firm’s platforms providing specialized consulting, engineering, and design services to public- and private-sector customers.
