Brinker, a Wilmington-based narrative intelligence company focused on countering disinformation and influence operations, announced that Bob Flores, former Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, has joined its advisory board. The appointment is intended to strengthen Brinker’s position as a platform that transitions the field from manual detection to real-time, technology-driven mitigation at a global scale.

Flores brings extensive experience from his tenure leading digital modernization and cross-agency information sharing as the CIA’s CTO, followed by his current leadership of Applicology Inc., a national security-focused advisory firm. His role will support Brinker’s efforts to expand its capabilities and footprint across U.S. and international government and enterprise customers.

Brinker was founded by Benny Schnaider, Daniel Ravner, and Oded Breiner as an AI-native platform designed to analyze, track, and neutralize harmful narratives across languages, regions, and platforms. Its proprietary large language model technology maps how narratives evolve and spread, enabling rapid intelligence and response at speeds that traditional tools cannot match.

The company states that Flores’ expertise will support the further development of its automated, open-source intelligence capabilities and enhance its operational readiness for government and enterprise clients. Brinker’s appointment follows the recent addition of Avi Kastan, former CEO and Co-Founder of Sixgill, to its advisory board, adding further leadership experience from cybersecurity and intelligence operations.

Brinker works with government agencies, enterprises, law firms, and NGOs to identify and mitigate influence campaigns through AI-based analysis and response tools, including media engagement, content removal, legal pathways, and strategic counter-narratives.

KEY QUOTES:

“Most disinformation efforts fail because they rely on manual operations that can’t match the speed and scale of today’s influence campaigns. Brinker’s AI-native approach enables responses that were previously impossible, turning real-time analysis and large-scale mitigation into a reality.”
