Body Vision Medical has closed a new funding round to accelerate the global expansion of its AI-powered intraoperative imaging technology for the diagnosis and treatment of early-stage lung diseases. The financing was led by Business Asia Consultants and Sprim Global Investments.
Body Vision Medical develops LungVision, an AI-powered real-time image guidance system designed to support minimally invasive lung procedures.
The technology is intended to help physicians navigate and visualize lesions deep within the lung during biopsy procedures, potentially improving access to early and definitive lung cancer diagnosis while also supporting localized treatment.
The company sees growing international demand as more countries develop national lung cancer screening programs.
Business Asia Consultants specializes in helping medical device and healthcare technology companies expand across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Its involvement could support Body Vision’s international commercialization strategy.
Sprim Global Investments combines early-stage capital with regulatory, clinical, and commercialization expertise. Body Vision currently has access to 46 countries through more than 20 established distributors.
The new capital will support Body Vision as it seeks to expand adoption among thoracic surgeons and interventional pulmonologists globally.
