Bold Security: $40 Million Raised For AI Endpoint Security Platform

Bold Security announced that it has emerged from stealth with $40 million in funding to develop an AI-driven platform designed to secure enterprise endpoint devices. The funding round included participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Picture Capital, and Red Dot Capital Partners. The company said the capital will support expansion of its go-to-market efforts, global scaling, and continued development of its AI-powered security platform.

Bold focuses on monitoring and securing activity directly on enterprise edge devices such as laptops and computers. By running AI models locally on endpoints, the platform analyzes how users and AI tools interact with data, applications, and services. This approach enables organizations to detect risks in real time rather than relying solely on centralized cloud monitoring.

The company’s technology turns endpoints into active security agents capable of interpreting user behavior and identifying potential threats as they occur. According to Bold, this approach reduces alert volume for security teams by up to 90%, allowing them to focus on higher-impact incidents.

Bold already works with several enterprise customers including Shutterfly and Tekion, as well as other Fortune 500 companies. The company is led by CEO Nati Hazut and was founded by Hazut along with Hadar Krasner, the chief product officer, and Omri Mallis, the chief technology officer.

Hazut previously founded the data security startup Polyrize, which was acquired by Varonis. He also founded SAM, whose technology protects more than 500 million connected devices globally for telecommunications companies such as Verizon and Virgin Media.

The company said the new funding will accelerate adoption of its edge AI security platform while supporting the long-term evolution of its technology to address emerging risks tied to AI-driven workflows and enterprise device usage.

KEY QUOTES

“For years, the endpoint was the industry’s biggest blind spot. A decade ago, we assumed everything would consolidate in the cloud, and the problem would solve itself. The AI boom didn’t just challenge that assumption, it completely reversed it. AI has opened up significant new security gaps, but it has also created the path to solving them. That’s what led us to start Bold, and what continues to drive how we’re building the company.”

Nati Hazut, Co-Founder And CEO Of Bold Security

“Like the rest of the world, we’re watching AI fundamentally reshape how organizations operate, and the security challenges that come with it. We chose to back Bold because we believe deeply in their vision, and even more in their team. This is a group of founders who have successfully brought products to market across agent-based systems, insider risk, and data security. That combination of deep technical experience and real-world operating insight puts them in a rare position to solve the next generation of endpoint risk.”

Amit Karp, Partner At Bessemer Venture Partners

“One of the biggest challenges with endpoint security is protecting users without slowing them down. As AI becomes part of daily workflows, Bold helps us apply security in a way that’s effective but unobtrusive, so teams can keep moving fast without creating new risks.”
