Bookmark Medical has completed its acquisition of Village Medical Michigan, marking its entry into Michigan and expanding its provider-led healthcare network to four states. The deal adds seven primary care practices, a diagnostic center, and Huron Valley Practice Affiliates, an independent physician organization, to Bookmark Medical.
The acquired operations include approximately 40 providers, more than 350 employees, and over 40,000 patients across Southeast Michigan.
The practices serve Farmington, Livonia, Northville, Novi, South Lyon, Walled Lake, and Westland.
Bookmark plans to maintain continuity for patients during the transition. Existing patients will continue seeing the same providers at the same locations and using the same phone numbers.
Over time, the practices will transition to the Bookmark Medical brand while maintaining their existing provider-patient relationships.
The acquisition expands Bookmark’s community-based healthcare network to Arizona, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Tennessee.
The company provides primary care, specialty care, and affiliated physician partnerships through a provider-led model focused on coordinated healthcare.
