Boston Green Company, an environmental services provider based in Freetown, Massachusetts, has received an investment from Fort Point Capital, marking a recapitalization aimed at accelerating the company’s growth and expansion.
The transaction, announced by Fort Point Capital, involves a partnership with Boston Green’s founders and management team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2007, Boston Green provides hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation and disposal, industrial cleaning and maintenance, and emergency response services. The company serves commercial, retail, industrial, and government customers across New England and the Mid-Atlantic.
The new investment is expected to support Boston Green’s continued expansion, including investments in its workforce, fleet, and geographic footprint. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering mission-critical environmental services and maintaining long-standing customer relationships.
Debt financing for the transaction was provided by O2 Sponsor Finance, a division of Old Second National Bank, along with Brookside Capital Partners. Mirus Capital Advisors acted as financial advisor to Boston Green.
Fort Point Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm, focuses on partnering with founder- and family-owned businesses in fragmented service sectors, helping them scale through operational improvements and strategic acquisitions.
