BotGauge AI Raises $2 Million Seed Funding For Autonomous QA Platform

BotGauge AI, a U.S.-headquartered autonomous quality-assurance-as-a-solution startup, has raised $2 million in funding led by Surface Ventures, with participation from IA Seed Ventures and Saka Ventures.

The company positions itself as a managed autonomous QA partner that takes ownership of software quality outcomes, rather than selling QA tools. BotGauge says its AI-powered, agentic testing approach uses autonomous QA agents to identify testing needs, generate and maintain coverage, and execute tests at scale across the QA lifecycle, with validation from in-house QA domain experts. The goal is to help engineering organizations match testing velocity to AI-native software development cycles, reducing production defects and post-release costs while accelerating release cadence.

BotGauge AI was founded by Pramin Pradeep, Naresh Kumar Rajendran, Vivek Nair, and Sreepad Krishnan Mavila, who the company says collectively bring more than a decade of experience spanning AI-driven test automation and enterprise QA transformation. With the new capital, BotGauge plans to expand R&D, strengthen its autonomous agents, and scale go-to-market efforts across the U.S. and additional markets. It also expects to hire across engineering, product, and AI as it pushes from early adoption toward an enterprise-ready, production-scale offering.

BotGauge cited early customer deployments with Sully.AI, OroLabs, Kitsa, and Ripple. The company says those implementations have delivered faster testing coverage, fewer production bugs, and shorter release cycles without expanding QA teams. Over the next 12 to 24 months, BotGauge plans to deepen its engineering capabilities and broaden adoption among mid-market and high-growth software companies globally, with a longer-term objective of making autonomous QA a foundational layer for modern software development.

KEY QUOTES

“We’re entering an era where AI redefines reliable, high-velocity software engineering. The real bottleneck today isn’t coding, it’s outdated QA that forces teams to trade speed for quality. Our autonomous agents own the quality lifecycle, test discovery, generation, maintenance, and execution, freeing engineers and experts to focus on innovation and customer impact. This funding accelerates our vision: making autonomous QA the unbreakable foundation for ambitious software organizations.”

Pramin Pradeep, Co-founder & CEO, BotGauge AI

“Building autonomous QA for a diverse customer base requires solving complex organizational and technical problems. The BotGauge AI team has the background, intellect, and discipline to solve these problems over time. As a result, we are excited to partner with BotGauge AI as they redefine QA.”
