BPOC has made strategic investments in Master Medical Equipment and ReNew Biomedical, sister companies providing medical equipment distribution, rentals, repair and maintenance services to pre-hospital and post-acute healthcare markets.
Founded in 2011 and 2014, respectively, MME and ReNew are headquartered in Jackson, Tennessee.
The companies operate a national sales and distribution network supported by service locations in Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida.
MME sells and distributes new, used and refurbished equipment ranging from defibrillators to infusion pumps, along with related disposables and accessories.
ReNew provides biomedical equipment repair, preventative maintenance and other services.
Founder and CEO Mark Taylor will continue leading both businesses after the investment.
The companies plan to use BPOC’s backing to increase their geographic footprint and broaden their range of solutions.
BPOC has raised seven funds representing approximately $2.5 billion in aggregate commitments and focuses exclusively on healthcare investments.
Stout served as financial advisor to MME and ReNew. Holland & Knight provided legal counsel to the companies.
Paul Hastings represented BPOC, while BMO provided debt financing for the transaction.
