Brady Corporation announced a leadership transition as Chief Executive Officer Russell Shaller will retire after 11 years with the company, with current board member Vineet Nargolwala appointed as his successor effective June 8, 2026.
Shaller, who also stepped down from the board, will remain with the company in a consulting capacity through August 1, 2026 to support the transition. During his tenure, Brady completed strategic investments and acquisitions while delivering five consecutive years of organic sales growth and record earnings per share. The company said its market value increased nearly 90% during his time as CEO.
The board selected Nargolwala to lead Brady as it prepares for the transformative acquisition of Honeywell’s Productivity Solutions and Services business. Nargolwala has served on Brady’s board for the past four years and was involved in evaluating the acquisition.
Nargolwala most recently served as President and CEO of Allegro MicroSystems from June 2022 through February 2025. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Sensata Technologies and previously held senior leadership roles at Honeywell. The board cited his experience leading growth and technology-driven organizations as key factors behind the appointment.
Brady Chairman Bradley Richardson said the company is entering an important phase of transformation and that Nargolwala’s combination of board experience and prior Honeywell leadership uniquely positions him to integrate the Productivity Solutions and Services business with Brady’s existing operations.
Founded in 1914 and headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brady manufactures identification and safety solutions, including labels, signs, safety devices, printing systems and software. The company reported fiscal 2025 sales of approximately $1.51 billion and employed around 6,400 people worldwide as of July 31, 2025.
