Brahma AI Raises $150 Million To Expand Enterprise AI Platform

Brahma AI, a developer of AI-powered technology for enterprise audiovisual content, has raised $150 million through the issuance of preferred shares, including a $100 million investment from Multiples Alternate Asset Management. The company has also received an additional $100 million in investor interest, which is separate from the completed financing. The funding will accelerate research and development, global expansion, and the establishment of a significant Silicon Valley presence.

Brahma AI is developing an AI-native operating system designed to help large organizations manage, create, localize, and distribute audiovisual content.

The company serves four principal markets: media and entertainment, sports, healthcare, and advertising. Its anchor customers include Warner Bros., the NBA, and Mayo Clinic, while its strategic distribution partners include Google, Hakuhodo, and DNEG.

Founded and led by Prabhu Narasimhan, Brahma AI was developed by bringing together technology and capabilities originating from DNEG, Metaphysic, and Prime Focus Technologies.

The company’s platform combines enterprise content management with generative AI technologies capable of creating and transforming audiovisual content.

Its two principal products are Brahma AI Core and Brahma AI Studio.

Brahma AI Core provides the company’s enterprise content intelligence and management capabilities, supporting organizations seeking to organize and use extensive audiovisual libraries and other digital assets.

Brahma AI Studio provides AI-powered creation technologies spanning visual AI, digital humans, voice, and multilingual performance.

Together, these capabilities are designed to help enterprises automate audiovisual production workflows, adapt existing content for different audiences, and develop new interactive experiences.

In media and entertainment, the technology can support the creation of multilingual content and AI-powered visual experiences. Within healthcare, Brahma AI is exploring applications involving digital representations of physicians and other forms of interactive communication.

The company’s technology received a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award, recognizing its contributions to visual AI.

Brahma AI plans to use the new financing to expand its technology platform, strengthen international distribution, increase research investment, and recruit additional personnel.

A major development priority is the launch of interactive digital humans. The company is also developing its platform to operate independently of any single underlying AI model, providing enterprises with greater flexibility as foundation models continue to evolve.

Security, authenticity, and content provenance are additional priorities as Brahma AI expands into more enterprise applications.

Jo Plaete, Co-Founder and CTO, leads the company’s technology and research organization, overseeing its work in visual AI, digital humans, and high-fidelity synthetic media.

The investment from Multiples provides Brahma AI with additional capital and strategic support as it scales internationally and develops its enterprise technology offerings.

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. served as sole placement agent for the financing.
