Brantley Gilbert has become an investor and equity partner in Real American Beer, marking a significant expansion for the fast-growing light beer company as it launches its first non-alcoholic offering, RAB ZERO.
The Tampa-based brewer said RAB ZERO delivers full-flavor American beer without alcohol, positioning the product as a non-alcoholic option that maintains the brand’s bold identity and energy. The launch also includes a new national partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO), with $1 per case of RAB ZERO sold donated to support active-duty service members and their families, along with ongoing sales-based contributions.
RAB ZERO is positioned as a non-alcoholic beer that maintains what the company describes as “real beer energy,” aimed at consumers who are training, pacing themselves, starting early the next day, or choosing not to drink alcohol while still participating fully in social occasions. The product aligns with RAB LIGHT’s refreshed visual brand identity and is anchored in the company’s “200% AMERICAN” and “HITS DIFFERENT” positioning.
Gilbert, who has achieved seven No. 1 hits and more than 8.3 billion career streams, has long connected with fans through social moments centered around music and beer culture. Fourteen years sober, he said he approached the partnership with intention, seeking a non-alcoholic product that did not feel like a compromise in flavor or experience. As a significant equity partner, he will take an active role across retail, digital, and live promotional efforts, including in-store displays, social content, billboards, tour integrations, and fan activations nationwide.
The company said the partnership builds on Gilbert’s existing ties to the Real American movement, including writing the theme song for Real American Freestyle and appearing at live events alongside high-profile athletes. The move also follows Real American Beer’s previously announced long-term partnership with MMA fighter Colby Covington as the brand continues to align itself with wrestling and combat sports culture.
RAB ZERO contains 29 calories and 3.9 grams of carbohydrates, with less than 0.5% ABV, and is sold in 16-ounce cans available as singles, four-packs, or six-packs. The product will be distributed nationwide, including at Gilbert’s tour stops, through direct-to-consumer sales on the company’s website, and through select retail partners, with TikTok and Amazon channels expected to open within the next month.
RAB LIGHT contains 99 calories, 3.9 grams of carbohydrates, and 4.2% ABV, available in 12-ounce and 16-ounce packages as well as draft. The company said recent updates to brewing partnerships and packaging systems are intended to enhance quality, consistency, flavor, and retail visibility as distribution expands.
