Breezeway, a vacation rental operations platform, announced a strategic growth investment led by Resurgens Technology Partners, a software-focused private equity firm. The investment is aimed at accelerating Breezeway’s product development, expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities, and supporting the company’s continued global expansion.
Founded in 2017 by CEO Jeremiah Gall, Breezeway provides software designed to manage the operational workflows behind vacation rental properties, including housekeeping, property care, guest communication, and vendor coordination. The platform automates and organizes these operational processes to help property managers deliver higher-quality guest experiences.
The investment comes amid continued growth in the global short-term rental industry. Worldwide supply now exceeds 12 million properties and is projected to reach 17 million by 2029, with professionally managed properties accounting for an increasing share of that growth. As the industry becomes increasingly professionalized, demand for specialized operations software platforms has risen.
Breezeway has expanded rapidly since its founding and now supports more than 3,500 clients managing operations across over 265,000 properties in 85 countries. The company’s international presence has grown significantly and now represents a meaningful portion of its business.
With the new investment, Breezeway’s leadership team plans to expand the product platform, introduce new capabilities across operations and guest experience, and further extend the company’s reach in global markets. Resurgens will work closely with the company to accelerate product development and help scale the business internationally.
The investment represents the second platform investment from Resurgens’ third fund, an $800 million fund that closed in 2024. Resurgens joins Breezeway’s existing investors, Catalyst Investors and Schooner Capital.
William Blair served as the exclusive financial advisor to Breezeway, while Gunderson Dettmer acted as legal advisor to the company. DLA Piper served as legal advisor to Resurgens.
