Brev, an AI-native business operations platform designed to connect company goals with day-to-day execution, announced it has raised $3.3 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Resolute Ventures, with participation from shuckerVC, Duro VC, Gaingels, and FOG Ventures.
The company plans to use the funding to accelerate product development, expand integrations, and grow its engineering team as demand increases for tools that provide real-time visibility into business execution.
Brev positions itself as a missing layer in modern enterprise software. While companies rely on systems for customers, finances, personnel, and tasks, Brev aims to serve as a system of record for execution. Its platform connects business goals with operational workflows, helping leaders understand ownership, track progress, identify execution drift, and prioritize actions in real time.
As artificial intelligence reduces the cost and friction of execution, Brev argues that the primary bottleneck has shifted toward decision-making, alignment, and prioritization. The platform is designed to address this shift by integrating structured data and unstructured business context into a unified operational view.
Founded in 2025, Brev has already worked with operations teams at companies including Flex, Patlytics, Unified, and RecordPoint. The company recently introduced a self-serve product with usage-based pricing tied to system activity rather than seat count.
The funding will also support Brev’s longer-term vision of evolving from a visibility and coordination platform into software that increasingly drives execution autonomously.
KEY QUOTES
“Most AI today is doing execution work in a vacuum. Without your business goals, metrics, and live progress in the context window, you get motion without alignment.”

Chris Pitchford, CEO, Brev
“Building our operating cadence was one of our top priorities this year. Brev gives us a real-time view of performance and helps connect what’s happening across the business back to our critical objectives. Instead of chasing updates and stitching together context by hand, our leadership team has a much clearer picture of where things stand and where attention is needed.”
Brett Hooker, COO, RecordPoint
“As AI accelerates execution speed, coordination, alignment, and decision making become the real constraints. Brev is building the missing operating layer modern companies need.”
Raanan Bar-Cohen, Co-Founder, Resolute Ventures
“This isn’t about building another dashboard. The challenge is turning structured system data and unstructured business context into a real-time understanding of how a company is operating.”
Vic Hu, CTO, Brev
