Brewer Science announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the semiconductor chemicals business line of Heraeus Epurio.
The transaction includes the Heraeus Epurio semiconductor chemicals production site in Dayton, Ohio, along with associated sales and support personnel in Asia.
Brewer Science said the acquisition expands its advanced materials portfolio and strengthens its ability to support semiconductor customers with highly specialized ultrapure chemical solutions.
These materials are critical to advanced lithography and microdevice fabrication. Brewer Science has supported the microelectronics industry since 1981, with expertise across lithography materials, advanced packaging, and materials innovation.
Heraeus Epurio is known for developing and manufacturing photoacid generators, photo-initiators, monomers, crosslinkers, and related ultrapure specialty chemicals used in semiconductor and electronics applications.
The materials produced by Heraeus Epurio are designed with exceptionally low trace-metal content and are built to meet the purity and performance requirements of advanced chip manufacturing.
Brewer Science said the acquisition supports its broader strategy of growth, diversification, vertical integration, and manufacturing excellence for the semiconductor industry.
The company is headquartered in Rolla, Missouri, and develops next-generation materials and processes across advanced lithography, advanced packaging, smart devices, printed electronics, and quality monitoring systems.
