Bricklayer AI, an agentic cybersecurity platform empowering Security Operations Centers (SOCs) with intelligent AI agents, announced the close of a $5 million Seed round led by Tech Square Ventures. The oversubscribed funding round also included participation from Sovereign’s Capital, Dreamit Ventures, and BlueWing Ventures, along with Bricklayer joining Engage’s F500 enterprise innovation platform as part of Cohort 15.
The new funding will enable Bricklayer AI to accelerate product development, expand go-to-market operations, and enhance customer experience as enterprise demand surges for scalable, AI-driven security automation. The company’s platform allows security teams to build, orchestrate, and manage specialized AI agents that perform investigations, vulnerability management, threat intelligence analysis, and reporting—delivering consistent, auditable results at unprecedented speed.
Bricklayer AI has experienced rapid growth in 2025, reporting a 14x increase in monthly recurring revenue year-to-date and more than doubling in the most recent quarter. Its platform is already deployed across Fortune 500 enterprises and managed security providers, helping organizations automate thousands of analyst hours per month while preserving human-level contextual awareness.
The company’s agentic AI platform addresses long-standing pain points in cybersecurity—rising threat volumes, complex tool ecosystems, and global staffing shortages. Bricklayer’s technology enables multiple AI agents to work together as a cohesive team, capable of performing multi-step operational tasks such as triage, vulnerability remediation, and report generation with both speed and precision.
Bricklayer’s participation in Engage—an Atlanta-based corporate venture platform connecting startups with 16 Fortune 500 companies, including Delta Air Lines, The Coca-Cola Company, UPS, Goldman Sachs, and Georgia-Pacific—will further support its enterprise expansion. Through Engage, Bricklayer will gain direct access to corporate partnerships and academic collaboration opportunities with Georgia Tech, accelerating the adoption of its agentic AI solutions across industries.
How the funding will be used: With this latest funding, Bricklayer AI aims to redefine how security operations are conducted in the AI era—transitioning from traditional automation to intelligent, collaborative, and self-improving agentic systems.
KEY QUOTES:
“Bricklayer is tackling one of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity today: scaling the expert decision-making of today’s cyber professionals to meet the exponentially growing threat landscape. Adam and his team have built an intelligent foundation for how security operations will be run in the era of AI—context-aware, open, collaborative, and built for the enterprise.”
Scott Lopano, Partner, Tech Square Ventures
“Security teams are reaching a breaking point. Legacy automation can only move so fast, but AI agents can move with both speed and understanding. This investment allows us to scale that vision—empowering organizations to build their own teams of AI agents that work like analysts, learn like analysts, and deliver consistency that humans alone can’t sustain. It’s the next step toward an AI-native security operations model.”
