Bridge Tower has acquired Villas at Sunterra, a 114-unit build-to-rent community in Katy, Texas, expanding its portfolio of single-family rental communities in the Houston metropolitan area.
Completed in 2023, Villas at Sunterra is located within the Sunterra master-planned development in one of the Houston area’s growing residential corridors.
The community includes private yards and garages along with access to a Crystal Lagoon, swimming pools, a lazy river, pickleball and tennis courts, a fitness center, clubhouse, biking trails, and greenbelt areas.
Residents also have access to Katy Independent School District schools and nearby retail, dining, parks, and recreational amenities.
Bridge Tower acquired the property at what it described as an attractive basis and plans to improve operating performance through property management, expense optimization, leasing and renewal strategies, and proactive resident retention.
The acquisition fits Bridge Tower’s strategy of acquiring newer build-to-rent assets in growing Sunbelt markets where population growth, employment expansion, and demand for professionally managed rental housing support longer-term cash flow.
Bridge Tower is vertically integrated across the residential property lifecycle, including acquisition, entitlement, development, construction, leasing, sales, and asset management.
