Bridgenext has acquired CloudX, an enterprise AI software company based in Buenos Aires, expanding its AI, data and product engineering capabilities as businesses move from experimental AI projects toward broader enterprise deployments. The acquisition increases Bridgenext’s engineering headcount by 25% and significantly expands the company’s presence in Argentina.
Bridgenext sees Argentina as a strategic nearshore delivery market that can provide closer collaboration and local time-zone support for North American customers working on complex AI initiatives.
CloudX brings experience developing and deploying enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions.
The company has focused on helping organizations move beyond isolated AI pilots toward systems that can operate at greater scale and support measurable business objectives.
Bridgenext plans to combine those capabilities with its existing consulting, data and product engineering operations.
The company describes its broader strategy as helping businesses transform fragmented digital investments into integrated “Growth Operating Systems” that connect technology initiatives more closely with business performance.
Bridgenext believes enterprise AI adoption is entering a stage where the key challenge is no longer deciding whether to invest in AI, but determining how to deploy it effectively across business operations.
CloudX adds specialized engineering talent intended to support that transition.
The acquisition also strengthens Bridgenext’s capabilities in healthcare, which the company identified as a growing market where AI and data investments are increasingly being used to improve operations and business outcomes.
CloudX’s Buenos Aires operations will become part of Bridgenext’s established Latin American delivery footprint.
The combination is intended to provide customers with a larger engineering organization capable of supporting agentic AI applications, enterprise software development, data initiatives and broader digital transformation programs.
For CloudX, joining Bridgenext provides access to a larger customer base and additional resources for deploying its AI capabilities across enterprise environments.
Bridgenext expects the transaction to help it provide customers with a more integrated combination of strategy, engineering and implementation support as enterprises look to operationalize AI.
