Brightwood Capital Advisors announced that it served as lead lender on a new credit facility for I Love Produce, a portfolio company of Promise Holdings. The financing will support I Love Produce’s continued growth, including future acquisition opportunities. OFS Capital Management also participated in the financing.
I Love Produce is based in West Grove, Pennsylvania, and processes and distributes garlic, ginger, and shallots throughout North America.
The company operates in a market supported by favorable long-term consumer demand trends. It has also built a resilient supply chain through a global network of long-tenured sourcing partners.
Under its management team and with support from Promise Holdings, I Love Produce has continued to strengthen its market position through organic growth and acquisitions. Recent acquisitions include Canada Garlic and Garlic King.
Promise Holdings acquired I Love Produce in 2023. Since then, Promise has worked with management to expand the company’s capabilities, strengthen operations, and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
