BriteLife Recovery has completed the acquisition of Summit Behavioral Health, an established intensive outpatient program in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, marking the company’s first expansion into outpatient services. The deal integrates Summit’s IOP into BriteLife’s broader treatment network, extending its continuum of care beyond detox and residential treatment across the East Coast.
Summit’s program, known for offering flexible daytime and evening treatment options, will gain access to BriteLife’s additional clinical and operational resources, including transportation services, alumni programming, the BALM® Family Recovery Program, and expanded clinical training. Leaders from both organizations emphasized the strategic importance of extending relationship-centered, trauma-informed care to outpatient settings.
To celebrate the transition, BriteLife Recovery and Summit Behavioral Health will hold a Community Open House on December 11 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Princeton Junction facility. Attendees will be able to tour the center, meet staff, and learn about newly expanded services.
BriteLife Recovery, headquartered in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, operates detox and residential programs in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York. The provider offers a trauma-informed, person-centered care model and accepts most major insurance plans, with scholarship assistance available for eligible individuals.
