Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks said they will merge to create what they describe as the world’s largest AI cloud-native physical security company, combining cloud access control and smart space technology with cloud AI video surveillance under a single, unified platform. The merged company will operate under the Brivo name and aim to simplify how enterprises deploy and manage physical security by consolidating capabilities and support into one integrated offering.

The companies said the combined platform, branded as the Brivo Security Suite, will bring together AI, access control, video intelligence, visitor management, and intrusion in a single cloud-native solution. Leadership said the merger is designed to streamline procurement and operations for customers while also making it easier for resellers and integrators to deliver and support deployments across diverse environments.

Under the new structure, Dean Drako, currently Chairman of Brivo and Founder of Eagle Eye Networks, will serve as CEO, while Brivo Founder Steve Van Till will serve as President. The combined company will maintain U.S. headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland and Austin, Texas, with additional offices in Lehi, Utah, Amsterdam, Bangalore, and Tokyo.

Brivo said it will continue to position the platform as open and ecosystem-driven, with continued support for third-party video and access control solutions. The company also highlighted its existing footprint in commercial and multifamily real estate, noting that it secures more than one billion square feet of property across 80 countries and supports an ecosystem of more than 100 third-party hardware devices, including smart locks, intercoms, and sensors.
