Broadfield announced the appointment of Sarah Sarwar and Ash von Schwan as partners in its London office, strengthening the firm’s private wealth and intellectual property capabilities as it continues to expand its international platform.
Sarah Sarwar joins Broadfield’s Private Wealth team, where she advises high-net-worth individuals, internationally mobile families, trustees, and family offices on estate planning, succession structures, wealth preservation, and cross-border tax matters. Her practice also includes trust governance, probate, and estate administration involving international assets and beneficiaries.
Ash von Schwan joins the firm’s Commercial team and focuses on intellectual property and technology transactions. He advises clients on technology and brand licensing, trade secrets, strategic collaborations, and intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions. His experience spans industries including consumer, luxury, healthcare, life sciences, software, energy, and infrastructure.
Broadfield said the appointments strengthen its ability to support clients on complex private wealth matters and high-value technology and intellectual property transactions through a partner-led approach focused on execution and modern service delivery.
The firm also noted that it continues to invest in secure, AI-enabled workflows and technology infrastructure designed to improve collaboration and consistency across offices.
