Broadfield has expanded its Dispute Resolution and Investigations practice in Hong Kong with the appointment of Grace Zhu as a partner. Zhu joins Liu, Patrick Ling & Co., bringing extensive experience advising global private equity firms, multinational corporations, and asset managers on high-stakes investigations and cross-border disputes across Asia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Her work focuses on complex matters involving regulatory compliance, fraud, corruption, sanctions, money laundering, export controls, and data protection. Zhu is qualified in Hong Kong, New York, and Mainland China, and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Her practice spans litigation and arbitration across major global jurisdictions, and she has represented clients in matters involving U.S. and Asian regulatory bodies.
Prior to Broadfield, Zhu practiced at Hogan Lovells and Kirkland & Ellis. She has advised clients before the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. She has led internal investigations and government enforcement matters for major global asset managers and multinational companies in healthcare, life sciences, technology, telecommunications, automotive, energy, finance, and digital assets.
Zhu’s addition reflects Broadfield’s continued strategic expansion in Asia following recent leadership hires and growing regional demand for sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional legal counsel. The firm continues to develop its presence in Hong Kong as part of its broader global growth strategy.
