Broadview Group, a St. Louis-based private investment firm, announced it has invested Citadel EHS, an environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHS&S) consulting provider.
Citadel will continue to operate under its current leadership team, led by CEO Loren Witkin, alongside CFO Jeff Mistarz, COO Kier DeLeo and other executives. The firms said the partnership will provide capital and resources to accelerate Citadel’s growth strategy, broaden service capabilities, expand geographically, and support its employee-first culture.
Founded in 1993 and employee-owned since 2003, Citadel EHS provides technical, regulatory, and compliance-driven consulting services across areas including engineering and environmental services, building sciences, industrial hygiene and safety, environmental compliance and permitting, and ESG and sustainability. The company said it works with public- and private-sector clients on challenges such as environmental compliance, permitting, remediation, workplace safety, and related regulatory requirements.
Broadview said the investment aligns with its strategy of partnering with businesses that have strong market positions and leadership teams focused on long-term growth.
Support: Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory served as exclusive financial advisor to Citadel on the transaction.
