Bronto: $14 Million Seed Funding Raised To Transform Data Logging For the AI Era

By Amit Chowdhry • Oct 22, 2025

Bronto, an AI-native log data platform company, announced it has raised $14 million in seed funding to redefine how enterprises and developers manage, analyze, and retain log data in the age of artificial intelligence. The funding round was led by Cercano Management, with participation from Heavybit and Conviction Capital.

Founded by serial entrepreneurs Noel Ruane (co-founder of Voysis, acquired by Apple in 2020) and Trevor Parsons (co-founder of LogEntries, acquired by Rapid7 in 2015), Bronto is tackling what it calls one of the most critical infrastructure bottlenecks in the AI era: the inability of legacy logging systems to handle the exponential scale, speed, and intelligence now required for AI-driven environments.

Bronto’s fully hosted log management platform promises low latency, massive scalability, long-term retention, and significantly reduced costs compared to traditional observability solutions. It eliminates the typical tradeoffs organizations face between retaining valuable historical data and controlling costs, while enabling new AI-powered use cases that merge observability with intelligence.

Bronto’s technology enables organizations to retain, query, and analyze all log data, both “hot” and historic, without discrimination or compromise, providing enterprises with full observability and actionable insights for compliance, security, and AI-driven automation.

Bronto plans to use the seed funding to expand its go-to-market function, accelerate product development, and scale its engineering operations. Based in Dublin, Ireland, with a presence on both U.S. coasts, the company follows a people-first, location-second hiring model to attract top global talent.

By offering a platform purpose-built for the data demands of the AI era, Bronto aims to become the definitive solution for enterprise-scale logging, giving organizations the ability to retain complete data visibility without cost or performance tradeoffs.

KEY QUOTES:

“The shift to AI represents the biggest transformation in computing infrastructure requirements ever, but even pre-AI, logging solutions have not kept pace. Organizations continue to be forced into painful tradeoffs: pay astronomical bills for ‘just-adequate’ retention, or delete critical data needed for debugging, security, and compliance. And now, in an agentic world—where intelligence meets data—maintaining all of your log data has never been more critical for companies to leverage and reap the real benefits of AI. Our goal is to be the world’s number 1 logging platform for all users and use cases.”

Noel Ruane, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Bronto

“Logging is fundamentally broken, unfit for the volume of data the AI-era has brought, and Bronto fixes that. Our team has a combined 150+ years of experience building and operating proprietary log-engines and platforms at global scale in both private, venture-backed and public companies. I don’t believe you could handpick a better group of engineers than our team at Bronto. Both Noel and I couldn’t be more excited to lead this incredible team.”

Trevor Parsons, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Bronto

“We believe Bronto is well-positioned to build a category-defining company in the logging and observability market. We’re thrilled to support Noel and Trevor’s vision and to partner with team-Bronto through our lead investment.”

Lauren Glatter, Cercano Management Venture Capital

“I’ve seen countless attempts to modernize log management, and they all fall short in some way—whether efficiency, scale, or usability. What Bronto has created is revolutionary and represents a true disruption in this space. Everyone at Heavybit is incredibly excited to partner with such an experienced pair of entrepreneurs already executing at this level.”
