Brookfield has launched a $100 billion global AI infrastructure program, supported by NVIDIA and the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), marking one of the largest capital mobilizations to date for AI infrastructure. The initiative establishes a comprehensive investment platform spanning the complete AI value chain, including energy, land, data centers, and compute systems.
The program will be anchored by the newly formed Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund, which aims to raise $10 billion in equity commitments. The fund has already secured $5 billion in commitments from Brookfield, NVIDIA, KIA, and other institutional and industry partners. Through its fund and additional capital from co-investors and structured financing, Brookfield anticipates deploying up to $100 billion into AI infrastructure assets worldwide.
Brookfield’s existing footprint of more than $100 billion invested in digital infrastructure and clean power positions the firm to deliver integrated solutions for powering the next generation of artificial intelligence. The company plans to apply its expertise across four investment verticals, including AI factories built on NVIDIA’s DSX Vera Rubin-ready design, dedicated behind-the-meter power systems, compute infrastructure tailored for enterprise and sovereign customers, and additional strategic partnerships supporting the broader AI ecosystem. Investment priorities will favor creditworthy customers and contracted revenue structures.
The firm has already begun deploying capital through a $5 billion framework agreement with Bloom Energy to install up to one gigawatt of behind-the-meter power solutions for data centers and AI factories. Brookfield is also launching Radiant, a new NVIDIA Cloud Partner designed to provide full-stack AI services. Radiant will build AI factories based on NVIDIA’s DSX design and support sovereign AI programs by leveraging Brookfield’s global access to land, power and data center capacity. Brookfield has also established significant agreements in France and Sweden to advance national AI development strategies backed by up to $30 billion in combined infrastructure investment.
KEY QUOTES:
“AI is creating one of the largest infrastructure buildouts in history, comparable to the formation of the modern power grid and global telecom networks, but unfolding at a far greater pace and significantly larger scale. This buildout will require $7 trillion of capital in the next 10 years across the entire AI value chain including power, compute, data centres, and beyond. We are thrilled to formally launch our dedicated AI program in partnership with NVIDIA and others to deliver this infrastructure at speed, at scale, and to the highest standard for enterprises, technology firms, and sovereign governments.”
Sikander Rashid, Head of AI Infrastructure at Brookfield
“AI is transforming every industry, and like electricity, it will require every nation to build the infrastructure to power it. AI infrastructure demands land, power, and purpose-built supercomputers—and our partnership with Brookfield brings all of these elements together in a ready-to-deploy AI cloud.”
“We’re thrilled that Radiant, Brookfield’s AI cloud service, is building an NVIDIA GPU cloud based on the NVIDIA DSX blueprint to deliver Vera Rubin–ready AI infrastructure—fast to deploy and designed to scale with the world’s growing intelligence needs.”
Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA
