Accelerated Wealth Partners (AWP), an investment firm focused on scaling high-performing Registered Investment Advisors, announced a strategic minority investment in Brooklyn Fi, an independent wealth management firm specializing in financial planning, tax strategy, and investment management for clients with complex equity compensation needs.
The investment is designed to help Brooklyn Fi expand its national presence and strengthen its position serving technology employees, founders, and creatives navigating liquidity events such as IPOs, acquisitions, tender offers, secondary transactions, and business sales.
Founded by Ally Jane (AJ) Ayers and Shane Mason, Brooklyn Fi has built a nationwide client base of more than 500 households through a fully remote operating model. The firm has also earned recognition as a four-time Inc. 5000 honoree.
Under the partnership, Brooklyn Fi will retain its existing leadership team, brand, culture, and operating independence. AWP will provide growth capital along with access to its organic growth and M&A capabilities to support the firm’s continued expansion.
The additional resources will be used to grow Brooklyn Fi’s advisor team, enhance its proprietary equity compensation planning technology, and broaden its reach among emerging wealth creators across the United States.
AWP is backed by a $200 million capital commitment from J.C. Flowers & Co. at the holding company level and focuses on helping advisory firms achieve institutional scale while remaining founder-led and client-focused.
