Bunch, a private markets infrastructure platform, has raised $35 million in Series B funding led by Portage, part of Sagard, with participation from Illuminate Financial.
The company is focused on modernizing the infrastructure supporting private markets, which are projected to reach $32 trillion by 2030. According to Bunch, legacy systems have not kept pace with the increasing demands for automation, data precision, and regulatory compliance required by modern fund operations.
Founded four years ago, Bunch set out to build a unified platform designed to address these challenges from the ground up. Its solution integrates the full fund lifecycle by combining specialist expertise, proprietary software, and AI-native infrastructure into a single system.
The company emphasized that private markets remain fundamentally people-driven, but scalability depends on the effective combination of human expertise, software, and artificial intelligence.
Bunch highlighted strong recent momentum, including 300% ARR growth in 2025, 156% net revenue retention, more than 500 investment structures supported, and over $58 million raised to date. The company also noted that its growth has been supported by more than 150 asset managers and 12,000 limited partners.
