Cable One In Advanced Financing Discussions With GTCR And Private Lenders

Cable One is in advanced discussions with GTCR, certain existing lenders and a consortium of private lending institutions regarding potential financing transactions designed to address the broadband provider’s upcoming capital requirements.

Cable One said it is seeking to enhance its capital structure and position the company for future shareholder value creation.

The parties have not yet entered into definitive agreements, and Cable One cautioned that there is no assurance a financing transaction will ultimately be completed.

The discussions involve both existing stakeholders and potential new capital providers.

Separately, Cable One and GTCR have extended the deadline for Cable One to complete the acquisition of the remaining 55% interest it does not already own in Mega Broadband Investments Holdings.

The new deadline is October 9, 2026.

Cable One provides broadband communications services to approximately 1 million residential and business customers across 24 states through its Sparklight brand.

GTCR manages approximately $45 billion in equity capital and has invested more than $35 billion across more than 300 companies since its founding.
