CACI International announced it has been awarded a five-year, single-award task order valued at up to $416 million to support the U.S. Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) program.
The award, issued under the Navy’s SeaPort-Next Generation (NxG) contract vehicle, calls for CACI to provide technology and services aimed at sustaining and modernizing IT systems that support maritime maintenance operations. CACI said the work is designed to help the Navy strengthen ship readiness while improving the security and resilience of its maintenance-related enterprise systems.
CACI said it will apply Industry 4.0 technologies and Agile software development practices to modernize and optimize NAVSEA’s IT infrastructure and applications. The company plans to use its “Agile Solution Factory” framework to help transition legacy systems toward a unified, cloud-first enterprise environment.
According to the company, the modernization effort is intended to enable more data-driven decision-making, improve resource allocation, reduce maintenance costs, and accelerate the delivery of new capabilities that support operational efficiency.
