Caliber has acquired Key Collision, bringing 10 collision repair locations in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont into its national network and marking Caliber’s first entry into all three states.
The acquisition expands Caliber’s footprint to 44 states and adds an established New England collision repair operator that was founded in 1992.
Key Collision operates locations in Portland, Maine; Concord, Keene, Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth, Rochester and Salem, New Hampshire; and Colchester and South Burlington, Vermont.
Caliber said the acquisition comes as increasing vehicle complexity, an aging vehicle fleet and changing insurance claims trends are increasing demand for specialized collision repair expertise. The company plans to support the acquired facilities with its nationwide training, technology and calibration standards.
Key Collision’s existing local repair teams will continue serving customers while gaining access to Caliber’s broader resources and technology.
The acquisition is consistent with Caliber’s strategy of partnering with independent collision repair operators that share its focus on operational performance, customer service and employee development.
Caliber’s portfolio has grown to more than 1,800 centers nationwide, spanning Caliber Collision, Caliber Auto Glass and Caliber Fleet Solutions. The organization employs more than 30,000 people.
Key Collision was represented by Focus Advisors in the transaction.
