Calibre has officially launched alongside a $3.3 million pre-seed funding round, aiming to redefine how individuals understand and manage their health. The company is focused on eliminating what it describes as “health guesswork” by delivering personalized, data-driven insights that go beyond traditional reactive healthcare systems.
Founded by Alexander Weber, former Chief Growth Officer at N26, Calibre is positioning itself as a lifelong proactive health partner. The platform integrates clinical expertise, diagnostic testing, and causal AI to provide users with a comprehensive and continuously evolving view of their health. Rather than offering generalized advice, Calibre seeks to identify what is specifically true for each individual, why it is happening, and what precise actions to take.
Weber highlights a broader generational shift in how health is perceived. Instead of merely avoiding illness, individuals increasingly seek sustained physical and mental energy, along with confidence in their long-term well-being. However, current tools, ranging from wearables to diagnostics and AI-driven insights, often leave users overwhelmed and uncertain due to fragmented data and lack of expert interpretation.
Calibre’s approach, which it calls “Causal Health Navigation,” aims to bridge this gap. By combining medical expertise with advanced analytics, the platform aspires to make high-quality, personalized health intelligence accessible beyond elite athletes and high-net-worth individuals.
A key figure in this approach is co-founder Reinhold Innerhofer, whose medical philosophy underpins the platform’s methodology. Innerhofer’s focus on causal and holistic health analysis has shaped Calibre’s core offering, alongside contributions from co-founder Ben Levy and the broader team.
The pre-seed round was led by Amino Collective, with participation from Cocoa Ventures, Daybreak, Gousto co-founder Timo Boldt, and N26 co-founder Maximilian Tayenthal, among others. The funding will support further product development and broader market rollout following a year of building and testing with early users.
Calibre now enters the market with the goal of transforming health from a reactive system into a proactive, personalized experience grounded in clarity and actionable insight.
