Campbell Lutyens has appointed Patrick Schneider as a Managing Director in its Distribution practice and as Senior Executive Officer for the firm’s activities in the Middle East and North Africa, strengthening its local leadership as it expands advisory work across the region. Schneider will be based in Dubai and will support the continued buildout of Campbell Lutyens’ primaries, secondaries advisory, and GP capital advisory strategies with Middle East-based clients and partners.
Schneider brings more than two decades of investment management and distribution experience, most recently serving as Head of Middle East distribution at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where he oversaw the distribution of both public- and private-market products across multiple channels. Campbell Lutyens said his background in capital raising and relationship management, along with fluency in Arabic, is expected to add depth to the firm’s limited partner and sponsor coverage in the region, building on prior client management and fundraising roles including at Western Asset Management and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
The appointment comes as Campbell Lutyens continues investing in its global distribution footprint and private capital advisory capabilities. The firm said its global distribution team covers more than 2,000 limited partners worldwide and includes 35 distribution professionals across 15 locations, combining global private markets capabilities with locally embedded networks.
Campbell Lutyens launched its MENA operations in 2024 and has been expanding its presence in the region as the UAE and surrounding markets continue to attract institutional capital and private market activity.
