Camtek expects its Advanced Packaging business to accelerate sharply during the second half of 2026, with revenue from the segment projected to increase approximately 70% between the first and fourth quarters of the year.
The semiconductor inspection and metrology company has received more than $600 million of orders since the beginning of 2026. Deliveries tied to that order flow are scheduled throughout the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, giving management increased visibility into future revenue.
Camtek expects third-quarter revenue of $158 million to $160 million, representing an approximately 20% sequential increase from Q2. Management also expects revenue in the second half of 2026 to grow more than 30% compared with the first half, followed by continued growth in 2027.
The company generated record quarterly revenue of $133.2 million in Q2, up 8% year over year and 10% sequentially. Non-GAAP gross margin was 51.4%, while non-GAAP operating income totaled $36 million. Camtek also completed its acquisition of Visual Layer during the quarter.
Management attributed the outlook to Camtek’s position in advanced packaging and its alignment with the technology roadmaps of leading semiconductor customers. The company is seeking to expand into additional process steps and applications as chip packaging complexity increases.
