Capital Engine Announces Strategic Alliance With Regiment

Capital Engine and Regiment Securities have formed a strategic alliance to expand distribution and co-syndication capabilities for select private-market investment opportunities, as demand grows for technology-enabled infrastructure supporting capital formation across alternative assets.

The firms said the collaboration is designed to enable co-syndication of certain private investments across both companies’ curated investor networks, with an emphasis on disciplined, compliant processes. The announcement is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy securities.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship in which Regiment has been a client of Capital Engine, using the company’s technology to streamline operations tied to private-market activity. Capital Engine’s core offering includes a broker-dealer solution positioned as a digital marketplace connecting issuers and investors, while automating elements of compliance and deal execution that have traditionally been manual.

Capital Engine said its infrastructure has processed more than $700 million in transactions to date, which it framed as evidence of its growing role as a technology provider to the private-markets ecosystem. Regiment, a FINRA-registered financial services firm, brings experience in investment syndication and a network of investors intended to broaden distribution for private placements and related offerings.

The alliance comes as both companies point to accelerating demand for private-market infrastructure, driven by evolving regulations, continued investor interest in private equity and private credit, and issuers seeking more efficient pathways to capital. Capital Engine said it is scaling its platform and broker-dealer capabilities as part of a broader expansion strategy that includes its recent acquisition of Mallory Capital Group, an SEC-registered broker-dealer.

Capital Engine describes itself as a global fintech and investment bank building infrastructure for private markets, while Regiment focuses on private placements, capital formation, and strategic advisory services. Regiment also operates RegimentXpress, which it described as a technology platform facilitating marketplace connectivity and not a broker-dealer.
