Capital Numbers has completed the acquisition of 100% of Epitome Cloud for ₹40 crore, adding U.S.-based Salesforce and enterprise transformation capabilities to its digital engineering, cloud, data and artificial intelligence platform.
Epitome Cloud is headquartered in New Jersey and has an established presence in the U.S. market.
The transaction forms part of Capital Numbers’ strategy to evolve from a broad digital engineering provider into a more specialized global technology services company.
Epitome Cloud specializes in Salesforce, Revenue Cloud, configure-price-quote technology, contract lifecycle management and enterprise workflow systems.
Its capabilities include platforms such as Conga, Agiloft and Onit.
Capital Numbers brings complementary expertise across application development, digital engineering, cloud infrastructure, data, AI and generative AI.
The acquisition gives Capital Numbers additional enterprise platform expertise while strengthening its position in the U.S., one of its primary international markets.
Epitome Cloud contributes established customer relationships and local market knowledge, potentially allowing the combined company to compete for larger and more integrated enterprise transformation projects.
Epitome Cloud CEO Anand Varanasi will remain involved in supporting U.S. customer relationships and market development.
Capital Numbers also sees cross-selling opportunities across the two customer bases.
Its existing customers can gain access to Epitome Cloud’s Salesforce and workflow platform expertise, while Epitome customers can use Capital Numbers’ broader engineering, AI, cloud and data capabilities.
The company expects that combination to improve its ability to pursue projects that span multiple layers of enterprise technology rather than isolated implementations.
Capital Numbers is listed on the BSE SME Exchange and is pursuing both organic growth and selective acquisitions to increase its technology specialization and international market presence.
Management said acquisitions can provide capabilities, customer relationships and geographic access that could otherwise require substantially more time to develop organically.
