Captec Americas and Cincoze have formed a strategic North American alliance as part of a broader global agreement, combining Cincoze’s industrial computing portfolio with Captec’s engineering, integration and lifecycle capabilities across the U.S. and Canada.
The partnership establishes a new relationship within Cincoze’s North American partner network and expands the range of specialized computing platforms available through Captec Americas.
Beyond product distribution, the companies plan to collaborate on future sector-specific platform design and development, combining their technology and engineering capabilities to create proprietary products for demanding industrial and mission-critical applications.
Together, Captec and Cincoze bring more than 55 years of combined industry experience.
The companies expect their collaboration to address emerging computing requirements across automation, defense, healthcare, energy and transportation.
Captec’s customers in the U.S. and Canada will gain access to Cincoze’s portfolio of configured-to-order embedded computers, GPU platforms, machine embedded computers, industrial panel PCs and displays.
The partnership also expands Captec’s global fulfillment capabilities through manufacturing sites in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
Cincoze develops rugged and industrial computing platforms designed for deployment at the edge.
Its modular product architecture allows processing power, expansion capabilities, connectivity and display options to be configured around individual application requirements.
For projects that require capabilities beyond a standard configuration, Captec can apply its engineering and integration expertise to modify or customize the underlying platform.
Those services can include specialized interfaces, mechanical and electrical modifications, peripheral integration, environmental requirements, testing support, configuration control and long-term lifecycle management.
The companies said the combined approach gives equipment manufacturers, systems integrators and program teams several paths for deploying industrial computing technology.
Customers can begin with an existing Cincoze platform, work with Captec to modify and integrate that platform or progress to a fully customized computing system for more complex applications.
The alliance is expected to be particularly relevant for systems requiring reliable edge processing, GPU acceleration, industrial connectivity, environmental resilience or extended platform availability.
Potential use cases include machine vision, advanced automation, deployed computing, remote monitoring and critical infrastructure.
Cincoze’s broader portfolio includes compact fanless computers, expandable industrial systems, GPU-accelerated platforms and integrated display technologies.
The companies expect the partnership to give North American customers a wider range of performance, form-factor, connectivity and deployment options while adding Captec’s engineering capabilities around those products.
Cincoze technologies are now available through Captec Americas across the U.S. and Canada.
