Carbyne, a provider of cloud-native emergency communication solutions, announced it raised $100 million, highlighting its rapid growth. Funds will accelerate the development of an AI-driven 911 platform, expand the industry, and drive global growth, while maintaining stringent cybersecurity standards. Participants included AT&T Ventures, Axon, Cox, Global Medical Response, Hanaco, Hercules Capital, RCM Capital, and SVB, with Goldman Sachs serving as an advisor.
Over the past year, Carbyne achieved triple-digit growth: +477% in ARR for its APEX platform, +105% in customers, and global presence in nearly 300 sites across 23 states and six countries, with 7,000+ calltakers. Its AI-driven platform integrates real-time support for call handling, dispatch, and decision-making, delivering faster responses and easing staffing pressures.
While others lag in infrastructure updates, Carbyne leverages AI to save lives today, expanding innovation and global operations while ensuring security and privacy. Its mission is to build a safer, smarter world by transforming public safety technology.
How the funding will be used: Carbyne will utilize the new capital to expand its R&D and engineering teams, enhance its AI capabilities, and strengthen its go-to-market efforts in North America, Latin America, and the EMEA region. Carbyne also plans to invest in strategic partnerships and integrations further to enrich the ecosystem of tools available to emergency responders.
