Cardlytics has appointed Chris Cheng as chief legal officer. Cheng will join the company’s leadership team and oversee its legal and compliance organization as Cardlytics advances its purchase intelligence strategy.
He succeeds Nick Lynton, who departed as chief legal officer in July 2026.
Cheng brings more than 20 years of legal leadership experience at technology companies, including expertise advising public companies and executive teams during periods of organizational transformation.
He most recently served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Iterable. His previous legal leadership experience includes roles at Zoom, Uber, Upwork and eBay.
Cardlytics operates a purchase intelligence platform that analyzes approximately $5.8 trillion in annual transaction data. The company has visibility into approximately half of card-based transactions in the United States and United Kingdom.
Brands use the platform to deliver personalized card-linked offers through banking and commerce platforms. Since 2008, Cardlytics has delivered approximately $1.2 billion in rewards to consumers.
