Carenet Health announced it has added Response BPO to its global enterprise, significantly expanding its international footprint and strengthening its ability to deliver scalable, technology-enabled healthcare services.

The combination brings together Carenet’s clinical expertise and AI-powered engagement platform with Response’s rapidly growing South Africa-based operations. The deal establishes a major delivery hub in one of the fastest-growing global markets for business process outsourcing, enhancing service capacity and cost efficiency for healthcare payers and providers.

The integration is expected to provide clients with expanded access to offshore talent, increased pricing flexibility, and broader geographic coverage across the U.S., Caribbean, Latin America, the Philippines, and now South Africa. The move also addresses ongoing industry challenges, including workforce shortages, rising costs, and rising consumer expectations for accessible, high-quality care.

South Africa’s BPO sector offers a large pool of native English-speaking, highly educated professionals with familiarity with U.S. healthcare systems, delivering services at substantially lower costs than domestic operations. Response’s facilities in Durban will serve as a key operational base as the combined company scales.
