Cargofy announced that it has raised $6 million in Series A funding. The round was led by u.ventures, Toloka.vc, and Movens Capital. Des Traynor, co-founder of Intercom and Fin, also participated in the round.

Cargofy builds digital employees for logistics teams. The company’s platform connects with more than 70 tools already used by logistics operators, including transportation management systems and load boards.

The platform is designed to automate repetitive freight operations workflows such as emailing carriers, handling documents, coordinating dispatch, and managing other day-to-day tasks around the clock.

Cargofy said logistics teams have traditionally scaled by adding more people and working longer hours. The company is focused on helping freight operators shift toward a digital workforce model that can reduce manual work and improve productivity.

The company said its customers are already using Cargofy to operate at higher levels of efficiency. According to Cargofy, one dispatcher can manage a fleet 10 times the usual size, a 315-truck fleet is saving about $83,000 per month, and one U.S. customer reduced annual costs by more than $5 million.

More than 2,000 teams currently use Cargofy, including Kaspi, Metinvest, and Zammler.

The company also said it is hiring for more than 20 roles as it expands following the Series A round.
