Carrier Global announced it has acquired 75F, a developer of cloud native, wireless, AI-enabled building automation systems. The acquisition strengthens Carrier’s intelligent building capabilities across applications ranging from complex applied systems and data centers to light commercial buildings and retrofits.
The combination brings together Carrier’s WebCTRL building controls install base, its Abound predictive analytics capability, and its Nlyte operational intelligence platform with 75F’s unified data layer and AI capabilities. Carrier said the pairing creates an end-to-end offering spanning equipment, controls, analytics, and outcomes for buildings globally, enabling operators to move from traditional building management toward more autonomous operations that proactively identify maintenance opportunities, optimize energy consumption, and improve occupant comfort.
75F’s platform combines wireless sensors, controls, cloud software, and AI-enabled automation designed to reduce installation time and simplify commissioning while optimizing energy efficiency and indoor air quality. Carrier plans to integrate 75F’s generative and agentic AI capabilities, along with its auto-commissioning technology, into its large commercial platforms, including its Carrier QuantumLeap thermal management suite, to improve deployment and thermal performance for the data center market.
