Carson Group announced the acquisition of FFR Wealth Team, which has transitioned into an integrated Carson Wealth office. The Covington, Kentucky-based team serves approximately $201 million in assets under management.
Carson Group is a wealth advisory firm with over $60 billion in assets under management. The acquisition expands Carson Wealth’s presence in Northern Kentucky.
FFR Wealth Team has built a relationship-driven business focused on multi-generational planning, personalized service, and high-touch client experiences. The team serves affluent families, business owners, and retirees.
The team is led by Managing Partners and Wealth Advisors Shelley Funke Frommeyer and Scott Reynolds. Both are CFP professionals, and their work includes comprehensive financial planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, and support for complex life transitions.
FFR Wealth Team first partnered with Carson in 2018 as an independent office. Its transition to an integrated Carson Wealth office is intended to provide the team with expanded resources, operational support, and a long-term succession path.
As part of Carson Wealth, the team will be able to leverage Carson’s advisor-focused platform. These capabilities include advanced planning resources, operational support, Private Client Services offerings, and access to Carson’s practitioner-led advisor community.
Carson said the integration will give the team more time to focus on proactive planning and client relationships. The move is also designed to help the team continue delivering personalized, community-centered service while expanding the capabilities available to clients.
Carson Group serves more than 60,000 client families across an advisory network of more than 165 partner offices. The network includes over 50 Carson Wealth locations.
