Carson Group Adds Long Island Independent Office With $160 Million In Assets

Carson Group, a wealth advisory firm managing more than $57 billion in assets, announced that Agrillo Financial Group has joined its network as a new independent office. The Bethpage, New York-based practice, led by Wealth Advisor Theodore “Ted” Agrillo III, oversees approximately $160 million in advisory and retirement plan assets.

Founded in the mid-1990s by Katherine “Dee” Agrillo, the firm has operated as a family-run business focused on building long-term client relationships. The practice primarily serves individuals, families, and small business owners, with a particular emphasis on supporting women, widows, and pre-retirees navigating financial transitions. While Dee Agrillo remains active, Ted Agrillo has taken on leadership of daily operations and long-term strategy.

The partnership with Carson Group provides Agrillo Financial Group access to expanded technology, investment capabilities, and operational infrastructure while maintaining its independence and local ownership. The firm plans to grow its team over time, including hiring junior advisors and additional staff to support future expansion and continuity.

Carson Group said its platform is designed to help independent advisors scale their businesses, integrate modern tools, and pursue growth without compromising their client-focused approach. The firm currently serves more than 60,000 client families across a network of over 165 partner offices.
