Carson Group announced the expansion of its advisor-focused AI platform, Steve, with the launch of a new capability called Client Intelligence, designed to give financial advisors instant, comprehensive visibility into client household data.

The new feature enables advisors to ask natural language questions about a client’s household and receive concise, synthesized insights drawn from Carson’s integrated data ecosystem, which includes both proprietary data and connected third-party systems. By consolidating information into a single interface, Client Intelligence reduces the need to navigate multiple platforms and allows advisors to quickly access relevant client details.

Client Intelligence is intended to support a range of advisor workflows, including meeting preparation, reviewing recent account activity, confirming beneficiary information, and understanding broader household financial contexts. The tool also supports tax-related discussions by surfacing relevant insights across accounts and relationships. The goal is to improve efficiency, enhance continuity across advisory teams, and free up time for client engagement.

The new capability is built on infrastructure provided by Carson’s partnership with Amazon Web Services, enabling the firm to securely centralize and activate its data. Leveraging AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock and Carson, Carson has developed a multi-agent AI architecture that integrates internal and external data sources to deliver actionable insights directly within advisor workflows.

The company emphasized that its approach focuses on embedding AI into existing processes rather than offering standalone tools. This integration strategy is designed to make AI immediately practical and usable in day-to-day advisory work.

Carson reported that its prior AI investments are already producing measurable results. In 2025, advisors using its AI capabilities experienced an 18 percent increase in capacity, reflecting improved operational efficiency and reduced time spent on administrative tasks.

With more than $57 billion in assets under management and a network serving over 60,000 client families, Carson continues to invest in technology to scale advisor productivity while maintaining personalized client service. The introduction of Client Intelligence represents a further step in its effort to streamline workflows and deepen client relationships through data-driven insights.

KEY QUOTES:

“AI adoption across wealth management is accelerating, but much of the industry conversation still blends what is available today with what sits on a future roadmap. Our focus at Carson is much more practical. We are embedding intelligence directly into the workflows advisors use every day in ways that immediately expand advisor capacity. Client Intelligence builds on our data ecosystem and Steve AI to help advisors quickly surface the client context they need so they can spend less time searching for information and more time focused on client relationships.”

Dani Fava, Chief Strategy Officer, Carson Group

“Carson Group has built a strong data foundation on AWS that powers their generative AI capabilities. By centralizing their data warehouse on AWS and integrating proprietary insights across their systems, Carson has created the infrastructure needed to turn AI into practical tools for financial advisors. With Amazon Bedrock and AWS data services powering their multi-agent architecture, Carson is demonstrating how the right data layer enables AI to deliver real value, helping advisors save time, expand capacity and stay focused on what matters most to their clients.”

Brian Cassin, Head of Capital Markets Industry Specialist, Amazon Web Services

“Our goal is simple: remove anything from an advisor’s plate that does not deepen a client relationship. When advisors spend less time searching for information or navigating systems, they can spend more time delivering advice and building stronger relationships with the families they serve.”
