Cartiga has appointed Dave Thomas as Chief Growth Officer, adding an executive with more than 25 years of experience across business development, marketing and talent acquisition to lead growth across the company’s legal finance platform.
Thomas joins Cartiga from Law Tigers, a national association of motorcycle injury attorneys, where he served as Senior Vice President of Growth and Business Development.
At Law Tigers, Thomas led nationwide business development and expansion into new markets for the organization’s network of personal injury law firms.
In his new role, Thomas will lead revenue growth across Cartiga’s products and strategic partnerships. His responsibilities will span law firm capital, plaintiff funding, law firm equity partnerships and management services organization partnerships.
Cartiga provides technology-enabled capital solutions to plaintiff law firms and their clients. Its offerings include financing for case costs, firm growth and ownership transitions, along with plaintiff funding through LawCash.
The company’s myCartiga technology platform provides law firms with a centralized system for accessing and managing capital. Firms can use the platform to draw and track financing, manage case expenses and submit and monitor client funding requests.
Cartiga said Thomas’ appointment is intended to support broader adoption of its capital and technology products while strengthening relationships with law firms and other partners as their financing and operational needs evolve.
